The short story is simply not the right vehicle for so much melodrama. Seriously though, romantic short stories? Not enough time for character development and far too predictable for my taste. No standouts here. (

Read only the three stories that aren't in Pistols for Two :
- Pursuit
- Runaway Match
- Incident on the Bath Road

They were all great.

Didn't read the whole thing. Just the last 3 short stories that hadn't been published in it's predecessor. I found them divertingly witty. (
