A delight to read with illustrations as good as the poetry! Quirky and fun. Some of my favorite childhood poetry. Where the Sidewalk Ends is a set of poems written by Shel SIlverton. These poems are funny, sad, creative, relatable, and all other adjectives you could think of. Each poem is unique and has something new to offer. These poems can be enjoyed by any young reader or adult. Since each poem is so unique, this is a great book for literacy devices. This poem book can be enjoyed by third graders and up and daily read aloud of a single poem each day would be a fun classroom activity. I love reading all the funny and uplifting poetry
