The Beast gives Belle his amazing library, and Belle becomes a little obsessed (understandably). There are also two extra characters playing a big part: the Goddesses of Love and Death. They've made a bet about whether Belle can break the curse, and Death plays dirty by putting an irresistible book in the library for Belle to find. Belle finds it and is transported into a magical world that seems like a dream but is actually a trap. Before she can break the Beast's curse, she has to break her own. Beauty and the Beast: Lost in a Book The Beauty and The Beast is about a Prince that was cursed and turned into a beast, and he could only be saved by true love. If I use this book, I will focus on the positive aspects. This book can have other interpretations and uses rude aspects on how to treat people. I would definitively let the students know that we can't accept to be treated badly waiting for a change. That would be taught as self-respect. aucune critique | ajouter une critique

Smart, bookish Belle, a captive in the Beast's castle, has become accustomed to her new home and has befriended its inhabitants. When she comes upon Nevermore, an enchanted book unlike anything else she has seen in the castle, Belle finds herself pulled into its pages and transported to a world of glamour and intrigue. The adventures Belle has always imagined, the dreams she was forced to give up when she became a prisoner, seem within reach again. The charming and mysterious characters Belle meets within the pages of Nevermore offer her glamorous conversation, a life of dazzling Parisian luxury, and even a reunion she never thought possible. Here Belle can have everything she ever wished for. But what about her friends in the Beast's castle? Can Belle trust her new companions inside the pages of Nevermore? Is Nevermore's world even real? Belle must uncover the truth about the book, before she loses herself in it forever. Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |

Honestly, very well done. This felt like an extension of the movie. The tone was right, the characters' voices were right, and so was the setting. High marks. ( )
