The book tells supposedly true stories of ghost that have appeared during or after a war. It covers different wars, like World War I, World War II, the Battle of 1812, and the Gempei War. The book is broken into 18 short chapters. History teachers can use this book to introduce students to different wars. Some of the stories will really capture the student's interest and may make them want to learn more about what happened during the war, especially for those wars that are not familiar to the students. Science teachers can use this as way to discuss how to prove that ghosts are or are not real. English teachers can have student write opinion papers on whether or not ghosts are real. The book contains a table of contents, but it does not contain any pictures or bibliography. While these stories are supposed to be true, it is difficult to check the accuracy of the stories because the author does not say where he has found his information. At times the stories are dull because they just rattle off facts but do not really engross the reader in how eerie the stories really are. Teachers may want to pick through the book and only use a few of the stories. ( ) aucune critique | ajouter une critique
