President Roosevelt decided that the United States was going to aid Britain and cut off trade with Japan. Japan was beginning to devise a plan to attack the United States. Japan decided on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii because the United States would be cut off guard. December 7, 1941 Japan air raided Pearl Harbor and very soon the United States entered World War II.

This book made remembering the details of what chronologically happened during World War II so easy to read and actually understand. I wished I knew about this book when I was taking my college history since 1865 course.

1. Discuss the events that lead up to the United States entering the war and our contribution in the war.

2. Discuss how we treated Japanese Americans living in the United States during the war. ( )
