I have gotten very into reading Reverse Harem novels lately becasue of this series. It's super hard to find decent ones that don't just read like fan fiction and this series is quite good actually. This series is really good though, it is slow to develop but that allows for more books in the series which is a good thing. Both the characters and the story are fully fleshed out and well written. I'm enjoying becoming invested in this world and pleased that I discovered this author. ( ) I think this was my last C. L. Stone book. It took so long to come out and was just meh. Nothing really happened I feel like the whole book was just Sang going from one guy to the next (except Silas, if he's your favorite I'm sorry he was barely in this one). Soooooo if you want a guilty pleasure with a reverse harem that actually has a bit more plot I would check out The Curse of the Gods series by Jaymin Eve and Jane Washington. Black and Green starts off with a bang! Camp has just wrapped up when Sang is summoned home. Her father has returned, along with his 'other' family. This is very bad for Sang. Carol, the new stepmother wants to move. The boys jump into action to figure out how to get Sang out of this mess and back with them for good! The 'boy' focus in this book is Sean Green. He realizes he needs to step up his game with Sang to show her that he cares and wants her with him (and all of them!). But, his mother chooses this time to come for a visit. Sean has a complicated relationship with his mother; he never feels that he or his achievements are enough for her. Trying to please her is exhausting, and now he is worried about Sang as well. Sean has always been one of my favorite boys. He is brilliant and a doctor, but when it comes to relationships, he is fairly inexperienced. Seeing the vulnerable side of him in Black and Green was so endearing. And, seeing his relationship with his mother progress was very sweet. Most of the boys have rough family experiences, so seeing Sean have a moment with his mom, whom he often finds exasperating, was delightful. The story revolves around how the team is going to get Sang out of her house. Carol is determined to pull her out of school and move the whole family to Savannah. During all this, Sang's fainting spells are increasing. She needs rest, less stress, and better nutrition. However, she can't get any of that until she is away from her horrible family. While it takes the team some time to figure out a plan, when Sean and Owen finally stop quibbling they come up with a brilliant plan! I never saw that coming. I adore the series so much that I just can't wait for each new book. Her having 9 love interests is tricky though because sometimes it felt like some of the boys weren't even in the book. I look forward to them working through all this as a team!
Trying to Live with the Dead by BL Brunnemer, Finding my Pack by Lane Whitt, Finding Honor by Ripley Proserpina, Paper Princess by Erin Watt...then you will probably like Black and Green! Black and Green See full review on The Book Disciple I've been following this series since the start. At first, I would hate the cliffhangers, but now I have grown accustomed to it. So yes, spoiler alert, we are in for another cliffhanger. However, I will say that in this book it feels fulfilling. This has a full story that continues with the ongoing relationship drama for the characters that I feel like it even progresses just enough with the plot of the new book. Black and Green gets into a whole new crazy ass drama that risks their relationships and her health. This book is obvious by the title it goes into Mr. Blackbourne and Dr. Green and their feelings for Sang. It goes into their history and their friendship. and we even see strong emotions from Mr. Blackbourne. Since I have been around the block with this series, I have to talk about the whole series. The start was good but quick, and you wanted more. Then there was the crazy conflict and then you would get angry with the cliff hangers and again a little quickly written. This book feels like professional level, that has made me decide that I will see this out. I will read til I get to the end. . . Whenever the hell that is going to bed. But it finally feels like this series has a plan for how it wants to get to the end. Before it felt like meeting the boys, having conflict, and tension. What I mean is the authors writting is growing with this series. aucune critique | ajouter une critique

Black and Green is the eleventh book in The Academy Ghost Bird Series. Sang Sorenson's father abandoned her and her sister, leaving them to fend for themselves for months. He's returned, and finds Sang is missing. He demands she return. Right now. Will he call the police if she doesn't? Her Academy team doesn't want to risk losing her ghost status and she doesn't want to put them in danger, so she reluctantly returns home, but is comforted that she will still be monitored by them. But the second she opens the door, she discovers her father has made changes that will affect her entire future. His decisions will make them a normal family. Normal is no longer what Sang wants. It would kill her Academy career before it ever started. Not to mention it would end the special, new, and still-fragile relationships with the guys. Sang struggles with her family, her identity, and where she truly belongs. Now that the entire team knows about their romantic relationships with her, tensions are mounting, tearing the team apart from the inside. Only, Dr. Green isn't going to lie down and roll over by playing by the rules. Not anymore. Not while Sang is at risk. His heart can't take leaving her in that house one more minute. He needs her. They all do. The Academy: Worth Risking All Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |
