Sky Jacks - great story and continuity with previous comics
Dead Man’s Hand - a story set in Deadwood, complete with references to Ian McShane (yay!). I also enjoyed the random inclusion of Oscar Wilde and the reference to his resemblance to Eight.
Convention Special - a short and sweet story with a great coda. I laughed out loud at “Lieutenant Husband”.
50th Anniversary DVD Special - this was the only one I didn’t like. I found it a bit too cutesy and annoying with Clara doing all this baking girlfriendy stuff.
The Girl Who Loved Doctor Who - this was my FAVOURITE! I loved it so, so much. It’s very meta, with the Doctor entering a parallel universe (ours), where he’s fictional and his adventures are shown on our TVs, and people keep thinking he’s an actor :D
This volume had more interesting stories than Volume 2—so interesting that I nearly forgot that Clara was the companion. (Usually I find her really annoying, so this comic collection has filled a very tall order!) I’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking for an Eleventh Doctor fix. ( )
