I read a few of the reviews, before I finished it and I have to say, that I disagree with many of the statements. I have actually never had somebody info-dump on me at a bar, but I can see what you mean when you compare this book to that. It is a little too personal sometimes and taking one single experience for proof that a statement is correct, might be a little much. As a person who hasn’t read many self-help books, I can’t confirm that it’s not saying anything new, but I feel like it’s a good summary of knowledge about life and how to deal with it and a good start into self-help books as well. I don’t think it’s a bad book at all, the stylistic devices were a little much sometimes, but the overall message is what makes this book worth reading. I’m happy having read this book and would recommend it to people who are struggeling a little, but going to a therapist is probably better, if the struggle is too big. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
