For Josie, all she wants is to find her mate like all the other human women now living amongst the hunky blue alien rescuers. But she never expected to be mated to the one guy she hates--and Haeden is just as surprised as she is. He had a mate years ago, and it didn't end well. He's surly because of her rejection and death, and was resigned to live the rest of his days alone. But now there's Josie and he will do all in his power to treasure the gift of finding another mate, even if he must first convince her he is a worthy companion. This might be my favorite of the series. I love a grumpy hero and this guy fit the bill. I liked the natural progression of the heroine from fear and loathing to acceptance and love. The story arc was better here than in the last one in my opinion. More realistic and not so goofy. The sci fi elements here are pretty solid. The whole cootie thing is just so well conceived. Thank goodness they found a couple more girls. I'm just not ready for this series to end. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
"Resonance" is supposed to be a dream-that's when your soulmate is chosen for you. And everyone on the ice planet has hooked up with a big, hunky soulmate of their own . . . except me. So do I want a mate? Heck yeah. More than anything, all I've ever wanted is to be loved by someone. Except that the soulmate chosen for me? My least favorite person on the darn ice planet. Haeden's the most cranky, disapproving, unpleasant, overbearing male alien . . . so why is it that my body sings when he gets close? Why is he working so hard to prove to me that he's not as awful as I think he is? I hate him . . . don't I? Contains mature themes. Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |

Josie was abused as a child, so she refuses to bring a baby into an unhealthy relationship. She thinks that Haeden hates her because he's always grumpy and growly to her, so when she resonates with him it's easy to imagine how well that goes. ( )
