children's picture book with CD. I liked the audio but it does work better as a read-along (viewing the pictures while listening). This is older and not ideal for new readers (small, all-caps font, among other considerations) but is still enjoyable for those not concerned with honing their reading skills. ( )

To me this was not a very interesting book, and did not grab me like the other ones have so far. I think it is a good book for a student to read to their self but not a book you would read to the whole class. A lot of different sounds are produced so I think it could be helpful for children who are in the process of learning word pronunciation. I did however like the illustrations and the placement of them. ( )

Murphy is a dog who lives in barn with other animals. He doesn't like it very much because he has to fight for scraps of food. Then he goes to the vet and doesn't like it and he is ecstatic when he returns home. ( )
