Anche questa è una storia carina e divertente ma, per me, forse un pochino sottotono rispetto alle altre.
Duncan è un vigile del fuoco e questo è un bene perché la sua vicina di casa, Necie, è una di quelle persone che i guai sembrano attirali, e a valanga, in compenso ha una grandissima qualità che di certo non passa inosservata a un Bradford, è un’ottima pasticcera, brava come poche altre. E così tra incidenti di ogni genere i due scopriranno di non riuscire a stare lontani e ...
Simpatico e spassoso come i precedenti, manca forse un pochino di mordente e a tratti sembra quasi spegnersi un po’, scontando probabilmente anche i tanti libri precedenti. Ma le storie dei Bradford, comunque, non deludono mai e sono sempre perfette per rilassarsi e svagarsi.

Che dire ormai, anche in questo libro traduzione ed editing non si smentiscono, pessimi entrambi, una costante negativa di tutti i sette libri della serie.

Continuo a non capire come un’azienda che si definisca casa editrice possa mettere in commercio prodotti di così bassa qualità per quanto riguarda la traduzione dell’originale e la lingua italiana utilizzata. Un comportamento verso i suoi autori e i suoi lettori che posso solo definire indegno e indecoroso.

Media aritmetica 2,5 che traduco in effettive 3 stelle per non penalizzare troppo la Mathewson che, di certo, non lo merita.

Well my previously stated review stands - really, her accident prone ways were epic - and I just read my spoiler and totaly agree - does it truly count??!?! I thought there would be more "christmas" too - it's set over december, and the snow storm was fun, so is her work - and her grandpa is absolutely amazing as well. wonder when I'll re-read series again....

I like the accident prone Necie and cute little Duncan and the infamous kidnapping .. which I mean did he technically kidnap her for the wedding, or was it kidnapping her to decide he wanted to marry her, because I don't think he actually kidnapped her for the wedding, are they DOOMED!!!!!!!!!!

I may just continue rereading all the rest now............. ( )

I never pass up these books. Every time, though, I think "Seriously, this is kind of an abusive relationship". The men are boorish at best but really, if you think about their behavior and actions, it would freak you the eff out in real life.
So, if I put that aside, and take this for the fiction it is, this is a short, typical Neighbor from hell book. Idiot Bradford male with no emotional IQ decides threats and kiddnappings are the only way to determine if the poor, sap of a girl is 'the one'. ( )

I love all the NFH books. This one was no exception. ( )

I really wanted to like this book. But the inclusion of spanking without notice, and more than once caused me to have to lower my rating. This series was going so well, too. ( )
