( ) Batgirl vs some tech-oriented villains.. or are they the same villain? I can't keep track. Also there are tigers, briefly. 2/4 (Indifferent). The art continues to be great, but the writing is a mess. Absolutely everything in this entire volume seems like a little fragment of a big story we don't get to see. I understand/assume that some of these stories actually are carried on through other titles, but come on, there is literally nothing here that is more than a few scenes from a story. I think this book is the one that finally breaks me of trying to read modern DC comics. This collection of issues has more crossovers than I have ever seen in one collection. The first issue reads like it is part of another story arc but we never see the rest of this volume. The rest of the stories are part of a larger crossover from what I can tell and separate from the rest it just doesn’t hang well as a great story. The last bit with the wedding was a bit too much of angst that didn’t need to be there. I don’t think I’ll bother with reading anymore of these.
