This book is perfect for teaching numbers and counting. This book teaches uni-, bi-, and tri-, which is important for students to learn, so they can understand how many each prefix means. The book also has questions that go along with the pictures, so teachers can assess their students by the pictures and questions provided. ( )

What's a Pair? What's a Dozen? is a great math book for elementary school students. This book teaches students the concept of understanding numbers and number related words. This is a kids friendly colorful book that introduces number related words such as single, double, couple, and prefixes such as uni-, bi-, and tri-. The author uses everyday concepts to engage students in learning these concepts. I would use this book in my classroom. ( )

This is a great book to keep in your classroom to help children with mathematical words and concepts. The author introduces children to words such as single, double, couples, dozen, even, and odd as well as prefixes such as uni-, bi-, and tri-. The book also includes guessing games where the book asks questions such as "Can you find the pair?" and "Which one is the unicycle?" while showing pictures. ( )

I enjoyed this book, as it had layers of meaning and went further than I originally expected, as well as used a logical structure. This book started at one and counted up. It explained as it increased and it used photographs to accurately represent the texts. This book addressed even and odd numbers, using great examples. ( )

This book is all about counting. It shows how to make pairs and how we use dozen for 12 and half a dozen for 6. I think this is a good book for young children that are learning about counting and numbers. I would implement this into my class if I were teaching young children. I love this book, I would have this book in the school library for other teachers to use as well. ( )
