Er... How is this connected to the Newsflesh Trilogy again? Can anyone explain it to me? Sure it was a fun story but I kept waiting for the zombies to pop in and felt disappointed when it ended so abruptly. ( )

This is how to write a short story. Even though there's obvious connection to the main series, it stands alone perfectly. There aren't any overlapping characters and it's extremely short, but the horror tension is built up SO WELL as the story unfolds, with just the right amount of detail to get the background we need. And that ending sent chills up my spine. ( )

It's a short story. And its horror, so be warned. But the writing is crisp and clear and it gets the point across. ( )

This is a VERY short novel. It’s not bad, it’s just terribly short. I wish there was much more of it.
