After the first issue I was awed enough to immediately continue with the second issue. After some initial disappointment - there were only 30 pages in this issue - I really liked this issue. The artwork is as splendid as before and it is the strongest point of the comic.

Being so short, there isn't too much room for development of the stories, but I got the idea that there were quite some new things is this installment. The story takes a turn for the dark.

Very good issue again!

Strange - I've been reading out of order, I really need to get my hands on issue 1. The art is revolting at times, which I think is the point, but god. The horror. ( )

This series is absolutely wonderful. Not only are the graphics stellar, but it's thought-provoking and highly relevant to our times. The themes of race, discrimination, separation, and fear come through strongly in this issue. And I'm quite in love with Ren the cat (or is he really something else?) with two tails. Thanks to NetGalley and Diamond Book Distributors for an advance copy in exchange for an honest review. ( )
