This was a funny, light hockey-player romance with Sunny, sister of Alex from book one, and Miller, stepbrother of Violet from book one. Once again, we see social media take down a former bad boy’s efforts to reform his ways and all the drama that ensues. I really liked the way this included a hero with a learning disability and characters with serious medical issues. A fun read perfect for when you’re in the mood for something light and snarky. Please excuse typos/name misspellings. Entered on screen reader. 3.5 stars While there were funny moments in this book, it lacked something from the first book. Sunny was hard for me to connect with and I got frustrated at how she treated Buck. Even Alex got on my nerves this time and I liked him in the first book. The best parts were the interactions between Vi and Buck. I'm hoping the next book holds my interest more. What happens when a notorious player decides to limit his stick handling with just one girl? Pucked up happens. If you read Pucked, you were introduced to Buck and Sunny. Is it necessary to read book 1? No, Ms Hunting writes a standalone story with some of the previous character's story woven in to allow you to 'catch' up. But I highly recommend you read book 1 anyhow. Because you'll miss other great lines that are similar to this is book 2: "They'd probably make him bottom because of his monster cock." I just love Vi. I loved her in book 1 and thank goodness she shows up with her witty mouth for book 2. The interactions between Buck and his sister Vi had me giggling. As you read through the story, you really can see that Buck is someone who genuinely wants to change. Be a better man, a better partner. I just found myself unable to really connect with Sunny. I felt like even though she was supposed to be the 'more adult' person of the duo, her actions were a bit immature and annoying at times. If you loved Pucked, this is a good follow up. You get more Vi - and who doesn't love Vi. If you are new to Ms. Hunting, I stringing recommend you start with book 1. Although this could be a standalone, it's Vi's carryover that made this read more enjoyable. 3.75 out of 5 stars aucune critique | ajouter une critique

***The 2nd standalone novel in The Pucked Series***Miller "Buck" Butterson has been banging his way through life ever since a puck to the face fixed his messed up front teeth. After five years in the NHL, deflecting goals on the ice and scoring them with puck bunnies, Miller has decided he's ready for a girlfriend. A real, non-bunny girlfriend to take on dates, and not jump into bed with after five seconds of conversation.Miller thinks he's found that woman in his teammate's sister. Except, unlike team captain and all-around nice guy Alex Waters-who happens to date his stepsister, Miller's media reputation as a manwhore is well earned. Beyond that minor detail, Miller doesn't know the first thing about relationships or the time and effort they require.Miller learns-eventually-that if he wants to make Sunshine "Sunny" Waters fall for him, he's going to have to do a whole lot more than show her his stick skills in the bedroom. ***This is a SPECIAL EDITION with Bonus Content*** Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |

Divertente e simpatico un’altra lettura molto piacevole e spassosa con anche il coinvolgimento attivo dei protagonisti del libro precedente nonché del prossimo.
Relax e svago a gogò. ( )
