Like the two preceding volumes in this four-volume set, as well as the subsequent Crinkleroot's 25 Mammals Every Child Should Know, Crinkleroot's 25 More Animals Every Child Should Know features a brief introduction from Crinkleroot, and then a very basic field guide to the creatures in question, with no more than identification and illustration. The watercolor artwork itself is lovely, and the species represent a wide variety of animal life. Recommended to anyone who has read and enjoyed other Crinkleroot guides, and to young animal lovers in general. ( )
