The story of Elizabeth of York, daughter of Edward IV and later wife to Henry VII, the first Tudor King. Also the mother of Henry VIII. In this historical fictional account of her life we are at the end presented with an answer to who killed the princes in the Tower. An enjoyable read of what is probably a lesser known Queen. A NetGalley Book Excellent historical fiction novel on Elizabeth of York - Queen to Henry VII. This is the first book I have read by Samantha Wilcoxson but it won't be the last. She is a wonderful author. I have read other HF books on Elizabeth and they tend to make her out to be superficial and a victim of sorts. Not in this book, she played the part of Queen as she was brought up to be but challenged her husband when she had to. Th story never gets boring and even though I know her story, it had some fresh ideas (especially on theories surrounding the murders of her brothers) as well as relationships with her family. I loved this book so much I couldn't put it down and finished it in one day. A must read for any Planagenet or Tudor lover! aucune critique | ajouter une critique

There are no scenes of violence, only the mention of the end results, and this is a clean read otherwise.
