Oh.My.... It has been a long time since I have found myself so invested into a group of characters like I was in this book. Through each 'section' of the book, I was drawn in on various emotions, wanting to scream at the book! From the wedding, to the city of lights, to Hybern, and everywhere in between. I was taken for a ride that I was not prepared for, and though I am off, my mind is still there.
I also have to say, following book one, I did not understand the dislike of Tamlin. Even through most of the book, I could understand the shift, but not the full disdain. But oh boy howdy! That scene!!! I was soooo livid! I knew there was something fishy, but THAT?!!? Nope. I refuse.
Lastly, chapters 54 and 55.... you will stay with me always. I want to cook this book a meal now :)
While I was concerned that book two would fall flat to me after reading book one, I am now concerned nothing will live up to the monster that book two was. I need a moment before starting the next book. ( )
