I have read Sherryl Woods before but I don't think I've read anything else from The Calamity Janes series. This book contains 2 stories (both I think previously published separately) that related Gina's and Emma's stories and how Winding River, Wyoming pulls them back. The name Calamity Janes apparently stems from their friendship in school and the trouble they got into back then. The origin of the friendship isn't talked about much in these two books. In the intervening years, both title characters have moved away: Gina did culinary courses in Europe and then opened a restaurant in New York. Emma went to law school and is now a high-powered attorney in Denver. Both these stories take place around the time of a high school reunion. It's hard to tell which story was written first, though I suspect Emma's might have been written before Gina's only because Gina's contains details that Emma's leaves out. My biggest issue, which is true of almost all the Sherryl Woods books I've read so far, is that the main characters seem to have a penchant for dropping into the bed of their love interest long before their relationship has really been defined. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
