I think this book would have been better as a novella. 300 pages of double daring, arguing, I hate yous and "secrets" was a bit much and the premise wore thin quickly. Disappointing for a series that I enjoyed up until now. I also didn't care for the insistence on characters being gay as a plot point/this is supposed to be funny. The book was written in 2015, I think we're past this as a humor tactic to be honest. I love R.L. Mathewson. Her characters and story lines are just hilarious. I love the Bradfords and look forward to many more high jinx and dares. This book did not dissapoint. It was funny and the characters were endearing. The only thing is that Marybeth was like a dog with a bone on certain issues. aucune critique | ajouter une critique

From the New York Times Bestselling Series, Neighbor from Hell, comes Double Dare.... Marybeth still couldn't believe that she'd survived this long with a friend like Darrin, but somehow she'd managed to beat the odds and not give in to temptation and smother him with a pillow while he slept. Of course some days were more difficult than others.... For 20 years he's been biding his time, waiting for the right moment to make his move, and now that she was finally his, he had to do everything in his power to keep her, even if it meant making a decision that would tear them apart and force her to face the truth.
** 2 stelle alla traduzione e all’editing
