This little girl is not afraid of monsters. All the monsters come around to try and scare her all night long. They don't scare her, but they do keep her up at night. She decides that enough is enough and wants to get rid of the monsters so she can sleep. She discovers that monsters hate kisses so she kisses all the monsters away so she can finally sleep. I like this book because it teaches bravery as well as investigation. I would use this book for kids ages 5-10 years old. ( )

Winifred Schnitzel is not afraid of anything including monsters, but the monsters that come into her room at night keep her awake. So, she tries many different things to get rid of the monsters but they will not leave. She does finally find out that monsters hate kisses.

The illustration's were really great and i loved the rhyming aspect of the book. The main theme in the book was monsters and a little girls having trouble sleeping. I think this book would be good in a preschool classroom with children who still have trouble sleeping or taking naps. I think this book would be very valuable in the home as well.
