Skip the Introduction and Foreword, they're awful and I almost didn't continue reading. I'm glad I did though, while I only really enjoyed a few of the entries, most I was happy to have read. It gets annoying when the writers try to overtly tie their story to the overall theme by announcing they've found "nowhere". Only a couple stories avoid this awkwardness, and they're much better for it. The ones I preferred: Meeting Echo, North of Perth, The Finest Cake in Sri Lanka, Grounded in In Binh, Secrets of the Maya, Crossing Over, The Worst Country in the World, On the Trail, A Picture of a Village, Debauched in Valdai, and In the Cauldron with Beethoven (out of 30 entries).
