this book is very heartfelt. a chapter book where a young boy discovers he has a learning disability; dyslexia. I feel that this disability is not really discussed and often ignored, but I love that this book brings it to life and how children struggle with this discovery and how they can be labeled as the class clown or dumb for it.

Quite a nice little story about a boy with dyslexia and the problems he encounters when trying to overcome his diagnosis. ( )

Explores the discovery of an 11 yo as he learns he has dyslexia and is guided to cope with it, and with his so-called friends' reactions. Effective, feels authentic, but doesn't pluck at the heartstrings or have much excitement. ( )
