So sad, this volume was full of delicious plot reveals, and it's the last one. This is yet another CLAMP series that was put on "hiatus", but seeing as its status was set to that in 2013 and it's now 2023, I highly doubt it will ever come back. This volume explained a lot of the mysteries behind Kazahaya's past and Rikuo's as well. Rikou's isn't actually as interesting as I thought it would be. But Kazahaya's is incredibly interesting, and it makes me sad this series will likely never be finished. They introduced a pivotal character from his past who seemed extremely intriguing as a character. I would have loved to read more about her! Also, this manga is apparently a crossover with another CLAMP manga series called Wish. Except, I've never read Wish. I didn't find out it's a crossover series until after I finished reading. So what I assume were meant to be huge emotional revelations just had me sitting there going "Oh...okay? That's...cool I guess? I don't know what's happening." because I was fairly confused. I also appreciate that they dropped the stupid "Constantly joking about and hinting at homoerotic subtext" thing and just made it text. Like, it's blatant and it's not made out as a joke at all. An enormous step forward from the behavior in Legal Drug. Pity this is another manga series in the big CLAMP "on hiatus" death pit. ( )
