I absolutely loved reading this book because it talked about a girl who was upset that she had to stay inside because it was raining. However, her mom comes in and takes her to see a surprise in the rain. While she was walking with her mom to go to the surprise she meets worms along the way. She also sees a rainbow and other things that interest her. Finally, she sees a street that is closed off due to numerous toads crossing the street to get to the ponds on the other side of the street. her mom,grandma, and her begin to help the toads cross the street along with other people. I feel like this book is successful beecause it shows children that there is science everywhere in life. I feel like this will give them curiosity to learn more about science . ( )
