For as long as Rose Hart can remember she has felt like an outcast in her own life. It is the secret that she hides from everyone that makes her feel this way. Rose has the ability to experience other people's memories. She sees what they see, feels what they feel, but no one around sees or feels what she does. She never knows when she might encounter a memory. Because of this she shies away from others. Rose never willingly tried to experience anyone's memory. That was until the summer of her sophomore year of high school. An old abandoned house in her town was set to be torn down. Rose always wondered what life was like living there many years ago. She dreamed of experiencing grand balls and lively parties, maybe even a beautiful wedding. But what she didn't count on was the memory she does encounter, the horrifying murder of a young girl in the basement. It is during one of her visits to the house that Rose meets a boy named Chuck. She is instantly attracted to him. But what she can't believe is that he feels the same for her. Because she sees herself as being odd she has walled her heart off, never opening it up for fear of rejection. It's Chuck who piece by piece tries to break away the wall that surrounds her lonely heart.Stories from the past intertwine with Rose's present day life in my young adult novel Lost Memories.… (plus d'informations)
