MazorBooks Reviewer: Kids are sure to enjoy reading “A Magical Maiden and A Minstrel”, an enchanting fairytale that recounts the story a damsel in distress and her gallant liberator. Willie the Minstrel and Liana of the Forest Twilloeh are sweet and magical. The fanciful cast of supporting characters, that include wandering gypsies and forest animals, adds to the fairytale’s charm. This children’s chapter book is appropriate for children between the ages of seven and ten or eleven. The author’s teaching background is evident, as she included definitions for words that may be more difficult in a vocabulary glossary at the end of the book. Warmly recommended.
