This was the official 2008 Keepsake of the Book Club of California given to members only. The fold-over wrapper contains within it the beautifully illustrated broadside for the Randall Tarpey-Schwed centenary exhibit of the works of M.F.K. Fisher (which contained a short essay by Tarpey-Schwed and which reproduced Fisher's story "A Thing Shared" from The Gastronomical Me.); and a separately printed essay by Fisher biographer Joan Reardon titled "Autobiography & Biography: Channeling MFK Fisher". Beautiful broadside to celebrate an exhibit at the Book Club of California that ran from September 8 - October 27, 2008 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of MFK Fisher's birth. The broadside is letterpress printed by Patrick Reagh, designed by Kathleen Burch, with original linoleum block illustrations by Patricia Curtan. The broadside includes a short essay by the exhibit curator Randall Tarpey-Schwed, a checklist of 76 of the 92 items featured in the exhibit, and it reprints Fisher's story "A Thing Shared" from her book The Gastronomical Me.
