"Lifeguard" by James Patterson and Andrew Gross is not your typical Patterson courtroom drama. The plot follows the main character, Ned Kelly, a lifeguard who finds his life turned upside down. A spur of the moment decision finds him wanted by the local authorities and FBI for multiple murders and theft of $5,000,000.00 in valuable artwork. Not all is what it appears to be. Will the few people in his life be able to help him before it's too late?
Well written, quick read, with lots of interesting twists and turns. Well worth the read! ( )

Great read. Interesting plot line. Never read Patterson and Andrew Gross before. I will read some more of their novels when I get an opportunity. ( )

Once again, another quick and easy James Patterson book. Easy but always entertaining. Can never say much without giving away plots but there are so many things going on in this book. I was surprised many times. The main character has himself in quite a bind. Crimes have taken place and though he is innocent, it appears he did several murders and an art heist. He has to prove his innocence and find our who done it. ( )

After the robbery goes devastatingly wrong, Ned knows that only distance and secrecy can save his life. But who is pursuing him?
