Everything you need to know to pass the FAA's Fundamentals of Instruction test. There's a lot to get your head around if this is your first introduction to teaching, but it's reasonably well-presented and discussed. Definitely not the last word on instructing aviation, but also definitely a good introduction. ( ) I’m studying for the Advanced Ground Instructor certificate, and eventually will be pursuing a CFI certificate with a sport pilot rating once I finish my private pilot checkride. I’m doing some preliminary study by reading this handbook. My day job is as a professor, so lots of the learning stuff in here wasn’t super useful to me. I found the last couple of chapters that were specifically about teaching aviation knowledge to be a lot more relevant. I agree with other commenters who mention how utterly dry this handbook is. There are also a ton of typos and grammatical problems, not to mention the references to the PTS, which indicates that this handbook could use an update. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
