When a Tiffany Snow book goes on sale for $1.99 it enters the danger zone for me, where I know if I purchase and read it I'll be mad the whole time and yet I can't stop myself from doing it. Real talk: I've been a closet-reader of "trashy romance" novels for years (although I'm working on changing that now to be more open about it). At this point, I know what I am looking for when I pick up a novel. But by the time I got around to reading Snow's Kathleen Turner series within the past few years...I don't know how to describe it, but that series broke me on romance novels. Since I finished that series, I can't seem to get past the destruction and havoc it sowed in the part of my brain reserved for romance. I have read one of Snow's subsequent romance series in which I know in my bones she was trying to redeem herself for what she did to the Kathleen Turner characters, and now I find myself reading another. It's the same characters. Nothing has changed here. With this third iteration we add Parker Anderson (Blane), Dean Ryker (Kade), and Sage Reese (Kathleen Turner). I already know this won't be the re-telling of Turner that I'm looking for. I already know the choices in this book with be rage-inducing. I also already know that I am resigned to my fate and nothing will stop me now from reading the other two books. Let's get this over with. I was hesitant to try this. I had read a Tiffany Snow book before and thought it was okay; nothing spectacular. However, the blurb sounded intriguing so I decided to give it a try. I was a little put off by the love triangle because its a trope I don't particularly care for. However, it didn't bother me at all in this book! The suspense is phenomenal and this is truly a romantic suspense novel! I liked the characters and actually cared about what happened to Sage. I'm glad I gave this book a shot-and I can't wait for the next book. Warning-sort of cliffhanger full review here: http://www.thebookdisciple.com ***ARC received in Exchange for an honest review*** aucune critique | ajouter une critique

2.) I for some reason just can't find this kind of books any good. And, what I mean when I say this kind of books are those that spend way too much time describing how sexy every character are all the time. Ever time the main character sees any of the two male "sexy as hell" character she just swoons how sexy they are and how she just want to hump them. Well, not at the same time, well I never finished the book so perhaps she did fantasize about a three-way with them. Anyway, somewhere in this sexiness is there a story lost and I would have preferred it to take the center, not the lady in heat (I can't remember her name right now)...
3.) In the last chapter that I read before I gave up, was the main character who-I-cant-remember-the-name-of to fly with her boss to New York. Of course, she is not in first class but are instead sitting with a child that ends up spilling his coca cola on her skirt. She later realizes that it became see through and that her boss had seen her bending over without any panties since they were soaked. She is horrified and I'm a bored. But that is not what made me give up the book. No, there are som some trouble with the booking of hotel rooms and she is without one and there are no close by hotels with any hotel room available so her boss Parker (see I remember a name) of course, tells her that she will stay in his hotel room since he have two rooms and they are adults. (muahahaha) I closed the book and decided that enough is enough, I don't get any younger (my birthday is tomorrow) and that I have good books that just waits for me to read them.
