In this case not just the fact that they’re two different species with the populace not totally accepting of the other, have he’s expected to find a mate and take over as king in five years on his thirtieth birthday. Once again it’s the female that has the biggest objections to the relationship. It also involves a mystery with Killian receiving threats and while the culprit and reason seems obvious, there’s an interesting twist the reader won’t see coming. Sexual tension, romance made more intimate with the use of telepathy, humor and lots of sex, I easily connected with the heroine and was along for the emotional ride.
