Everyone loves this book, but I couldn't relate. No one cuddled up with me every night to share a book, but this gave me hope that my son will perhaps remember me with such fondness. ( ) I thought that this was an excellent book and would recommend it to any reader. This is because the book is very relatable to readers, especially those who have a close attachment to their father. It progresses through one girl’s life starting from her first memory of reading “The Cat and the Hat” with her father. “Well, two – it just seems like the third one was there – The Cat In the Hat, my father, and I.” The story continues with the girl growing up and having reading time still with her father even when she is older and when her father is about to pass away. It has an emotional tie to the book, which I think is the reason it draws readers in, and making them feel as if they are in the story. The main message of the book is the recollection of a first memory and the close relationship to a parent. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
