Cette critique a été écrite dans le cadre des Critiques en avant-première de LibraryThing. Those who loved "The Fault in Our Stars" might be put off by "The Fault in Our Pants." I was not enthralled by the book so maybe parody is not my thing, especially for such a heart-wrenching original book by John Green. Cette critique a été écrite dans le cadre des Critiques en avant-première de LibraryThing. It could have been better. Maybe it was just me, but I think it was a very weak paraody. Unfortunately did not even finish the book because of this issue. TFIOS fans: DO NOT READ! Cette critique a été écrite dans le cadre des Critiques en avant-première de LibraryThing. Received from the Early Reviewers giveaway, and assumed it would be fun. Oops. A very weak effort, a parody not even worthy of MAD Magazine. It's a thankfully-brief run-through of the events if The Fault In Our Stars, but with dark humor and raunch piled on. The kinds of terrible jokes you might whisper to a friend during a movie, just not actually funny at all. I'm not a prude -- this just wasn't any good. Maybe teenagers would like it as their first taste of scandalous, obscene, oh-no-you-didn't shock comedy? Cette critique a été écrite dans le cadre des Critiques en avant-première de LibraryThing. I couldn't finish it. It's written from a teenage boy's uncensored point of view. The harsh language, swearing, crudeness and the cynicism got to me. It will appeal to teenage boys, I am certain. It's paced for interest, easy to read, but so crude, just like the inside of a teen's thoughts.
Okay so.... This was just a different book eh? But I really enjoy it I was just the perfect mix between the real fault in our stars by John green and a lot of sexual jokes and incredible foot sentences that make you smile. When I started reading this boom I was like "what the hell" and like.... Ten minutes after I was like " hold me on I can't breathe because of laught" wow. This book it's like the perfect parody for everyone. I have read the fault in our stars and I cryed and I smiled so if you are one of those people who have read the book by John green....YOU have to read this book because this book will make you day. As simple as that! I love the way that story like.....changed all the meaning of every word in the fault in our stars and converted in such a good joke, and is awesome the wrong way that haze, Augustus and even Isaac act, it's funnyyyyyyyu as anything in this world! Finally I really recommend this book, I think that I will read it again because this book made me smile and laughter unto the point that I have to drink water to simmer down my emotions! Est une parodie de
As I was approaching the mall exit, this cute little girl with barretted braids appeared in front of me and said, "What's that in your nose?""They're called cannula," I said. "These tubes give me oxygen, which helps me breathe.""Would they help me breathe, too?" she asked."I dunno, wanna try?""Nah," she replied, "I don't wanna look like a weirdo.""Wanna know a secret?" I asked."Yeah!"I licked my finger and rubbed it on her arm. "I just gave you cancer," I whispered.***You've read the book. You've seen the movie. Now read the parody!THE FAULT IN OUR PANTS is the hilarious new full-length parody of "The Fault in Our Stars". Just listen to these reviews:"Grand." -Augustus Waters"A douchefest." -Hazel Grace Lancaster"Will there be a braille edition?" -Isaac"Why wasn't I in the movie?" -KaitlynAll the big scenes that weren't in the book but should have been are here! For instance:--The scene where Hazel tells Isaac that "always" no longer applies if your significant other goes blind--The scene where Hazel wastes her Genie Wish by wishing for a million more wishes--The scene where Hazel tries to take it past first base in the Anne Frank HouseAnd many more! From support group to the swing set of tears, from Augustus' trophies to Amsterdam, from Van Houten to Venn diagrams, it's all in THE FAULT IN OUR PANTS. So go ahead, give it a shot. You know you want to read it more than "Paper Towns." Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |

heheheh. Oh, man.
First thing’s first: I’m severely immature for my age, and laugh at virtually anything. Please don’t hate me. This is in no way intended to make light of an emotional and heartbreaking situation or disease.
The Fault in Our Pants is obviously a parody of The Fault in Our Stars. It’s a very touchy subject for a real life disease that tears families apart, and takes away lives way too soon. I have to be honest, I read it because I needed a light read after all the hardcore books I’ve been reading with epic plots, high fantasy type of stories. Comedians make fun of anything and everything, so something like this didn’t really surprise me, but you can’t please anyone, as some of the reviews warned people away because of the topic...
