Encore une excellente aventure de FitzChivarly et du Fool. L’histoire est lente, pesante. On passe beaucoup de temps sur les tourments de Fitz au point parfois d’avoir envie de le gifler.
Les nouveaux personnages sont accrocheurs, et les révélations surprises sur d’autres apportent une évolution bienvenue.
La dernière partie du livre, où Fitz et le Fool rencontrent les Dragon Keepers de Kelsingra, est délicieuse. Retrouver Amber est un réel plaisir.
