All three main stories included here are quite good (though the cover might mislead, as Jessica Jones is more of a supporting player than a protagonist in two of them), though as the book's conceived as a comic about the Marvel newspaper Daily Bugle, I personally was disappointed that really only the very first of them had an A-plot based on superhero journalism. I suspect that had it gotten to run for longer, it would have explored that rather interesting premise more thoroughly.
The end of the volume also contains a bonus story of sorts from New Avengers, which feels out of place (it is clearly ripped from an ongoing bigger arc and presented here without context for or resolution to that arc), but which has been included because it contains an important moment in Jessica Jones' life. It's OK, but presented on its own like this, it pales in comparison to the main three arcs collected in the volume. ( )

Not a huge fan of the predominant role that baybeez! and mothering-while-superhero played in this run.

The subplot involving D-Man was unexpectedly poignant, though I could do without the writers throwing around ableist terms like "schizo," as though mental illness = evil. ( )
