This is a great suspense that keeps the reader guessing. While it takes place in the present day with the flash back to the year before the reader is never lost as to what happened then and what is happening now. It is the perfect blend of back story while the suspense of the now is unfolding. It will also have readers clamoring for more from the world that the story takes place in. It is a relatively fast read but packs so much story in such a short amount of pages that it comes across as a longer novel that it actually is. This is the perfect story for those times when a reader needs a short story for a break. This one does not disappoint at all. ( )

A year ago Catherine Donnelly spent a week with Jason August and then she slipped away.

Cat has returned home and Jason is determined this time when he catches her he will not be letting her go. But with the feuding war between Jason and her family Cat is unsure of what to believe. Before Cat get a chance to do anything chaos erupts and she finds herself in Jason's arms again. Jason is determined to keep her safe from whatever is happening until he can find out who is responsible and stop them. But is Jason all he seems and can Cat trust him when it is just not her safety that is on the line. When her father and brother show up things become even more complicated and Cat will need to decide once and for all where her loyalty lies because a wrong decision may cost somebody their life.

I loved reading Sinful Secrets the suspense and intrigue of the storyline was balanced brilliantly with the sensual romance never losing one to enhance the other. I would definitely recommend you add this one to your TBR list. ( )
