Overall I thought this was a wonderful story and a great look into the mind of a clone trooper post Order 66. However that wasn't what I was expecting at all. Granted Darth Vader is a character in this story, and I provides much of the main character's motivation, but I don't understand the why this book's title is centered on Vader. In the end, if you want a great Star Wars story, this book is for you. If you're looking for a great Darth Vader story, look elsewhere. aucune critique | ajouter une critique

Following Hock's journey from the Clone Wars to its end in the Dark Times era was interesting enough. I typically enjoy these types a stories. You follow a character as they go through some serious stuff, and in the end they reflect on what they have been through and come to some kind of realization or turning point. The problem with Darth Vader and the Cry of Shadows is that the motivations behind Hock's journey don't seem that believable. In the end I was confused about what Hock actually learned besides he lived a life he will forever regret. ( )
