The stories in this TPB definitely run the gamut. It starts with a Zero Year story for Dick which I liked. He’s still with the Haley Circus and is at a movie when the Riddler kills the power to Gotham, and he and those Gotham kids he ‘teams up’ with have quite a journey home for sure.

Then back in the present time he goes on a ‘last case’ in Gotham with Barbara (as sorta Batgirl, sorta not Batgirl) before he goes to Chicago. Someone is killing/trying to destroy those people/things in and around Cindy, a famous actress. Someone calling themselves Firefly, and the question becomes. Who is Firefly?

Dick also has a run in as Nightwing in Chicago with a woman called Marionette (or Mali the Mimic) and the Mad Hatter, as well as one with Victor Zsasz, and then there’s the final issue in the TPB. That’s the issue where Dick’s life takes a brand new turn. I loved the Batman/Nightwing fight too.

It was a good TPB with a couple of okay stories, and a couple of great ones.
