This whole series, from beginning to end is just utterly fantastic. I can't put into words how much you should read this, and read it now! ( ) Finally, the confllict between Hawkeye and the Russian gangsters who are trying to take over his building comes to a conclusion - or does it? The gangsters are defeated, but the mysterious cabal who seem to be pulling the strings of the gangsters are still lurking behind the scenes. Hawkeye and Kate may think that this conflict is over, but the story wraps with Kate's own father giving his consent for the group to target the Hawkeyes. Technically the series is over, but there's the "All-New Hawkeye" first volume out, so I'm betting that the story continues there. It's with some sadness I finish this volume, which is the last of the Fraction/Aja Hawkeye run. I loved the unique storytelling style they brought to the title, and the fact that they sometimes made the reader work to figure out what is going on. This overlaps some with Volume 2, and follows Clint's continued battle with the Track Suit Mafia. Because it's Clint, he has a plan -- sort of. With the help of Barney (yes, that Barney!!), and the building's tenants, he's ready to defend his turf. This was so good, and I am torn whether to continue with this series, under a new creative writer, or just end it right here. Also, Kate's father. WTF. aucune critique | ajouter une critique

Reeling from recent events, even Hawkeye wants to know his new status quo. Who's with him? Who's against him? Who's trying to kill him, and why? And just when Clint's rock bottom couldn't arrive fast enough, his brother shows up. After a lifetime of bad decisions, Clint and Barney Barton have to realize that they are brothers - and, ultimately, they're the only ones who can save one another. If they don't kill each other first. Now, the brothers Barton double down as the Clown and the Tracksuit Draculas lay siege to their building. Can Hawkguy keep everyone safe? Deafened and bloodied, will the Bartons make easy pickings for the Tracksuits? Ever seen Rio Bravo? It's the final chapter of Matt Fraction and David Aja's critically acclaimed reinvention of the arrowed Avenger!. Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |
