There are shape shifters, time warpers, telepaths, telekinetics, and even a new and very interesting type if paranormal called Huldra. The story has lots of epic elements: burgeoning love, betrayal, battle (or the makings of) and loss of loved ones. This has the ingredients for an awesome series. The first book sets up the next quite nicely though it does lack action. aucune critique | ajouter une critique

But how can Sonia trust him when his mom turns out to be the kidnapper, her intention to take over the Huldra Dynasty? Against her better judgment, Sonia finds herself falling for Anthony. Without anyone else to turn to, Sonia accepts Anthony's help and travels with him to Wraithsong Island to find her mom and prevent the takeover of the Huldra Dynasty.Suspenseful, passionate and gripping, E. I liked that it was a twist on the typical vampire or werewolf storyline. I particularly enjoyed Sonia’s mom awkwardly explaining that one of the side effects of a Huldra’s coming-of-age can include being a bit oversexed, and that even kissing a boy will enslave him in her Huldra powers. Aww, poor Mom has to have the birds and the bees (and the ancient enslavement of men) talk with her teenage daughter!
