It had an immersive atmosphere and interesting characters, all fit for a self-contained adventure. ( ) I thought this captured the vibes of The Witcher quite well with a horrific story to boot: Our Witcher Geralt comes across a lonely fisherman who becomes Geralt's travel companion. They travel into some dark woods and come across a house that they can't seem to escape, and for Geralt's companion his sins are about to be exposed. The art style reminded me of Hellboy a bit, and fit the creepy story quite well. The characterization of Geralt was spot on with the books, games, and TV show. 3.5*, verging slightly closer to 4* than 3*. So a fun read and a good graphic novel. The illustrations were good and thematic, a nice drawing style imo. I am not the biggest Witcher afficionado (no more one than most people these days) so I cannot comment as much on the writing not matching Geralt although I will say I didn't find the dialogue jarring which can be tricky for graphic novels. Not an overly complex curse but a fairly tense one nonetheless. aucune critique | ajouter une critique

Travelling near the edge of the Brokilon forest, monster hunter Geralt meets a widowed fisherman who's dead and murderous wife resides in a eerie mansion known as the House of Glass, which seems to have endless rooms, nothing to fill them with, and horror around every corner.
