An informative book about the effects of global warming and how it happens, and solutions to do in helping to reduce the cause of it.

This book is straightforward to follow and to understand what is global warming, how it causes, and what can we do about it. During the story, I can ask many questions about our daily lives to related to this title. I was able to introduce new ways of driving, electric car. This book is very informative with details. The pictures are beneficial for teaching!

I will use this book with kindergarteners to 1st grade.

The text goes into what causes global warming such as, green house gases, burning coal, and gases released from vehicles. The text goes into how we can find different ways to get power in order to better protect our planet.

Each page has new vocabulary on it that is highlighted and bold. The highlighted words can be found in the back in the glossary. The illustrations are photographs and diagrams. The pictures are explained very well and are labeled. This would be a great informational text for students to pull information from, and form an opinion regarding the current situation of global warming. ( )
