Here is another book from Ted Lewin's I Like to Read series, but this one contains a fun game of hide and seek within the beautiful watercolor illustrations. Kids will enjoy learning about the animals and their habitats and spotting them while camouflaged very well in their surroundings! My special needs preschool kiddos enjoyed this book and loved finding the animals in the pictures. ( ) This simple book with watercolor illustration shows different rainforest animals on each page with the phrase “ I am ……the name of the animal …………..can you see me ?” There were a snake, sloth, otter, crab, lizard, monkey, and more. The author uses a simple language challenges children to recognize birds, mammals, reptiles, and crab. Some of the animals are easy to see and find such as the howler monkey hanging on a fallen tree. And there are some animals such as the vine snake who its color is similar to the color of the tree, are more of challenge. In the last page, the author identifies each animals with their specific names. The size of the pictures in this text are perfect for preschool readers, there are full-color, soft and watchful. Children will learn some new animal’s names and they also will learn that birds, frogs, and other animals can be found in different color and sizes. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
