I have little to add to my review of the first book i this trilogy. Excellent ( ) Another beautifully written story of Eleanor of Aquitaine. This begins as Eleanor is crowned Queen of England. Ms Chadwick has that unique quality of being able to transport you to another time and place with her words. I recommend everyone who loves medieval historical fiction to read any of Elixabeth Chadwick's books. aucune critique | ajouter une critique

As her children grow older, and her relationship with Henry suffers from scandal and infidelity, Eleanor realizes she must take the crown for herself if she ever wants to become the powerful woman she's destined to be.
