Poorly narrated

In the beginning, I found it difficult to determine what age she was, and then maintaining that knowledge. It's written as an adult who has reflected greatly into her past. A child would not talk the way she does or have the understanding relayed in the book. There's a LOT of unnecessary explaining about why she felt this way, her understanding of what happened etc. It's almost as if she's reiterating what her therapists have told her throughout the entire book. It's detached and unemotional. Simply- informative. ( )
