The entire premise of this book is so crazy and interesting at the same time. The book also was really tense and exciting during the battles, especially when all the odds were stacked against him. This book keeps introducing new ideas and some new characters that build on the central concept of an extremely futuristic war with absolutely brutal training, and this introduction keeps the story exciting for the reader, but always uncertain and wavering for Ender. I think the choice to make ender a younger kid also was important because it shows just how horrible some of the training was on both his body and his mental state more than it would on an adult, who would be expected to be able to withstand this type of training more easily. ( ) Enders Game is a fiction novel about Ender, a 6 year old boy who is drafted into the military to fight a race of aliens that attacked Earth 40 years ago. He is viewed as humanity's last hope to serve as commander of the fleet attacking the buggers homeworld, as they are running out of time to end the war. The book draws you in and makes you relate to Ender in a way that makes you forget he's only 11. Jed Alger creates an amazing universe, leaving enough up the reader's imagination to fill in the gaps as they see fit. The areas where he goes into extraordinary detail, such as during Ender's training make you feel as if you really were there with him, experiencing the creultys that he must face in order to become the perfect commander for Earth. It's nearly impossible to put the book down once you start it. Though most of the book is amazing, the very ending feels rushed and thin. I hope aucune critique | ajouter une critique
