( ) The person who wrote the introduction to this commented that you can hear the French accents as you read, and he was exactly right. No need to write things out phonetically: the syntax, along with a monsieur here or a mademoiselle there, is enough. The tone is playful. Bandette is a lovable thief who, of course, only steals from people who deserve it or won't mind. She is full of admiration for the people around her (as well as for herself), even for those who don't return her feelings, such as "the delightfully nosed" Inspector Belgique. I recommend reading all the extras at the end of the book too, once the main story is complete. Read Daniel's story, at least, but all of these tidbits are good. This comic made me smile a lot. I can't wait to read the next and to try out other work by these authors. aucune critique | ajouter une critique

"The world's greatest thief is a costumed teen burglar by the nome d'arte of Bandette! Gleefully plying her skills on either side of the law alongside her network of street urchins, Bandette is a thorn in the side of both Police Inspector Belgique and the criminal underworld. But it's not all breaking hearts and purloining masterpieces when a rival thief makes a startling discovery. Can even Bandette laugh off a plot against her life?"-- Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |
