It starts off by introducing what weather is and how fast it can change. Then it starts explaining the sun and how it heats the land. The next topic this book covers is clouds. It explains how they are formed and how clouds create rain and snow. The book also goes over the topics of lighting and thunder and rainbows. I like this book because it gives six ways that weather can be wild which would interest the kids. I also like that it gives an activity to match a picture to the weather. I would use this as a basic introduction to weather. I may use one section each day for that specific topic we are learning. I love talking and learning more about weather!! I did my science SIOP lesson on weather and it was so much fun. The kids in my classes have loved talking more about weather especially during experiments involving weather. This book is great for answering questions such as what causes thunder and lightening? What makes a tornado twist? Appartient à la sérieNational Geographic Kids Readers (Level 1) Est contenu dans
